OUR REINFORCED CONCRETE MESH TYPES

We have a variety of concrete reo mesh types to suit various different projects and applications. These include:

Rectangular concrete wire mesh – This type of mesh has the highest reinforcement properties and extremely high tensile strength. It is ideal to use in floor and wall slabs and is used extensively in high rise concrete structures such as apartment buildings and shopping centres due it’s high tensile strength qualities.

We have rectangular reinforcing mesh for concrete slabs available in a variety of sizes including different gauges of reinforcing steel and different spacing’s between the welds. Whether you have a civil, commercial or residential project that you need concrete mesh for, we’ll be able to supply just the right type for your needs.

Square Mesh For Concrete – Our square mesh is an all-purpose type of mesh that is generally used as reinforcing mesh for concrete slabs. It can be used for both commercial and residential projects and is the most common mesh used for driveways, warehouse slabs, shed slabs and outdoor patio slabs.

Our square concrete mesh comes in different sizes of gauge and spacings and we’d be happy to help you decide which particular size is most suitable for your project.

Trenching Mesh – Most commonly used to reinforce footing trenches and ground beams, our trenching mesh comes in a wide variety of widths, long and cross wire diameters and different spacing specifications. Galvanised Steel Mesh – This type of mesh has been coated with zinc to prevent corrosion and rusting and is ideal for use in any project that may be close to coastal areas. Our galvanised steel mesh is also available in a range of gauge diameters and spacings. 

 

AUSTRALIAN STANDARD REINFORCED CONCRETE MESH

Here at Bestbar, we supply only the highest quality reinforcing mesh made from 100% recyclable waste metal. Our reinforcing steel is manufactured by Natsteel in Singapore and undergoes the highest quality testing using sustainable manufacturing processes.

Once the reinforcing steel has been manufactured and delivered to us, we put it through our tensile testing laboratory to ensure that all our steel meets and exceeds the minimum strength requirements set by the ACRS.

A coil of reinforcing steel then goes into our factories where they are made into sheets of reinforced concrete steel mesh. All the welding is done by machine and is then inspected and given the correct certification.
